The rifle and
ammo provides security along with the alarm. The
Home Brite alarm is solar powered and with daily sunlight it will stay charged. When it detects motion at night, it starts flashing a light and saying “Warning, you have entered a
secure area.” You can also thread cans with a few rocks in them on a trip wire. This can serve as an early warning if someone is walking up to your location and hits it.
The
gas mask insures you have
fresh air to breath (very important) in most smoke or chemical contaminated environments that still contain oxygen. The
Poncho insures you have some sort of shelter when outside guarding your
Retreat.
Unscented
bleach allows you to disinfect drinking
water while the matches allow you to
start fires to boil water and cook without
wilderness survival skills.
Then
buy some extra cans of foods that you normally like to eat when home. A good stocking strategy needs to consider your consumption and the shelf life of the particular food. We cover more about this in the
Prepper Handbook. In addition to this, you need about $10 of US
Silver coins and several hundred dollars in small bills in the event of a
power outage. For a
Pandemic, add some acetaminophen, N95 Masks,
disinfectant,
sanitizer, wipes & extra
toilet paper. Most of these are things you should keep all the time.
