Ammo Prices - July 2023

While Ammo prices are mostly higher than 2019, the last normal pre-covid, pre-excessive government spending and massive inflation, but then they are not likely to return that low except in rare cases.

Low price sources for 9mm at $0.22 to $0.25 per round were as follows:

WINCHESTER WHITE BOX 9MM 115gr FMJ BULK RANGE PACK (southerndefense.com)

Low price sources for name brand NATO 5.56 mm M193 starting at $0.44 were as follows:

https://www.luckygunner.com/5-56x45-55-grain-fmj-m193-winchester-usa-1000-rounds-32755

Official Lake City Military plant Ammo for $0.50 per round:

Winchester USA Lake City M193 Rifle Ammunition 5.56mm 55gr FMJ ... (natchezss.com)

Even lower price NATO equivalent starting at $0.43 each are as follows:

PMC 5.56x45mm 55gr FMJ M193 (5.56X) - 1000 | Bulk Ammo For Sale (bulkmunitions.com)

5.56x45mm Ammo at Ammo.com: Cheap 5.56 Ammo Online Here

While many brands are less than the name brand NATO ammo, when buying 1,000 rounds, I will pay the extra for name brand Mil Spec ammo from Lake City.  Granted, it is not the best quality 5.56 ammo, but it is probably the best value.

Green Tip NATO M855 Combat Ammo is at an unusually attractive price right now.

PMC X-Tac 5.56 NATO M855 LAP 62gr (sentryammo.com)
