August 2022 prices are down on average by about 1 - 4% from last month and down 19% from 2021levels. While supply and prices are stabilizing in common calibers, there continues to be a wide range of prices, and tight supply on uncommon calibers.

5.56 Prices are down 4% in August from July. 2022 prices are down 13% below 2021, up 41% from 2020, and up 53% from 2019. May be a good time to buy some 5.56.

22 Prices are down 3% in August from July. 2022 prices are up 7% from 2021, up 36% from 2020, and up 48% from 2019. Over all, 22 LR prices are high, but starting to go down. 22 Magnum prices increased less than any other Ammo, and are actually lower today than there were in 2019, making it a good time to stock up on them. A 22 is an inexpensive first gun with the lowest cost ammo.
