When you need neither, that saves you a month of time and calories, which are MUCH better spent upon making a pontoon outrigger raft, 2000 sq ft of netting out of the 2 person rope hammock and the 20x20 tarpe. and making and setting baited vertical junglewhips and cable snares for big game, and baited treblehooks for predators, wired to a drag log, and of course, baited snares for small game. The other contestants in season 4 does not show a sleeping bag as an item they chose, but a couple teams show choosing bivy bags.
